Busanjin Station

The station is the starting point of the Sujeong Ibagu-gil Road tour. Located in Jwacheon-dong, it is a rail station exclusive for cargo. Passenger trails do not stop here.

Bong Seng Memorial Hospital

The hospital was created to provide Busan residents with high quality medical services with the beliefs: “Leading the development of medical science, Striving to the Development of the National and Local Communities, Protecting the Rights and Lives of Patients, and Striving to Provide Advanced, High Quality Medical Care.” It was chosen as the best medical institution by the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service in December 2012.

Busanjin Reclamation Monument
Address387, Jungang-daero, Dong-gu, Busan (next to the entrance of Dongbu Police Station)
Between 1902 and 1926, over 476,000m2 of sea area in front of Busanjin was reclaimed in three phases. In October 1926, Busanjin Reclamation Company was built to reclaim large coastal areas around Sujeong-dong and Beomil-dong. The monument established to celebrate the completion of the reclamation is being managed and preserved in the front yard of the Dongbu Police Station.

Created naturally in the 1960s by street vendors, this is a traditional market in an alley offering vegetables and seafood along with restaurants offering sliced raw fish. The familiar taste of homemade and friendliness greet visitors.

Sujeong-dong Japanese-Style House (Former Jeongnangak)
Address1010, Sujeong-dong, Dong-gu, Busan
Built in 1943, this is a luxury Japanese-style building with the gate covered under a (three-sectioned) gambrel roof. Looking southward, the house boasts a unique interior with Japanese decorations. Embracing the Shoin-zukuri Japanese architectural style, it well preserves a Japanes interior space centered on Dokonoma (built-in recessed space), wooden furniture, and a central garden. It was designated as Registered Cultural Property No. 330 thanks to its value in modern housing and lifestyle history. It was used as a filming location for the popular movie General’s Son.

Literary Wall Road

Passing the Sujeong-dong Japanese-Style House toward Busanseo Middle School, visitors can see unique wall paintings starting with the wall along Dongiljungang Elementary School. Literary photos and writings of poets can also be found on the wall along Busanseo Middle School.
